1.MAIN BEACH

Originally named because it was, quite simply, the “Main Beach” for the nearby town of Southport, Main Beach has become a separate suburb in its own right due to continued development. Home of Xanadu Resort, the popular beach is a short stroll away. Known as a ‘chill-out’ beach due to the proximity to great facilities but much quieter than nearby neighbour ‘Surfers Paradise’. Main Beach is a great choice as a Gold Coast beach destination for visitors who want to have a fun and peaceful day out at the beach.

2.BROADBEACH

The northern end of the Gold Coast is home to Broadbeach. The patrolled beach is less intense than the crowds at Surfers Paradise yet more upbeat and cosmopolitan than those further to the south of the Gold Coast. We have stayed a few times now at Xanadu and the apartments have always been clean, I like it cos it is very quiet as only 3 units per floor, you do not hear any noise from the neighbours.
