Whale Watching

In the later part of the year, from June to October, the mighty humpback whale migration begins as these awesome ocean mammoths head to the warmer waters in the north to breed. Even though you can see the whales from your Xanadu Main Beach apartment, nothing can replace the excitement and awe of seeing them up close in their natural environment. Whale watching tours leave from Main Beach at Mariner's Cove and you can do a half or full day cruise aboard a 32 metre catamaran, that is perfect for whale spotting and watching. And, if you aren’t sure about the ocean, you will be happy to know you only need to head to the waters off Surfers Paradise for this truly unforgettable experience with these majestic marine mammals. EXCITING UPGRADES STARTING APRIL 2024

We are excited to announce - Monday 8th of April, as the start date for Stage 1 of our exterior renovation and refurbishment.

  • Complete replacement of our paved driveway
  • Introduction of modern Granite and cobble paving around porte-cocheres
  • Refurbishment of all gardens surrounding the main driveway

STAGE 2 – More detail will be available in the coming weeks. This will include the closure of the outdoor pool & BBQ areas over the immediate winter period. Tentatively May, June, July.

Work will include closing off all visitor parking and direct access to the entrance of the East tower reception. Access to the reception will be via the NORTH tower foyer. Arrival parking will be at the very bottom of the driveway along Pacific st. Walkway access along the side of the driveway ramp will be available for pedestrians to the entrance of the North tower.

The above scheduled works are expected to take place between April and July 2024.
